Master Cleanse Day 2

Well Well, here I go again procrastinating the fact that I really need to buckle down and stay raw as I so need and truly love. Now that our son moved out into his own Bought Home last Monday not yesterday,I am free.Free to eat and not make things I don't agree with.My own husband is happy too that we both ca eat and do what we want with no others here to please. That may sound selfish but why do we parents giveand give and our kids take us for granted.I am saddened yet happy all at the same time.Ask my friends,I have been waitng for this past Monday to do another 10-13 day Master Cleanse.I am so geared for it.And I must say I hate the SW Flush, but last time (last year early 2009)1/2 way through I realized I was doing 2 Tablespoons not 2 Teaspoons of the Sea salt .YIKES I know!

Today I might go see Amanda whom is (RawDawgRory's Wife) and walk a little on her walking trek~.She will be in the Tacoma area about 30 minutes from where I live, but want to see her doing her thing~

need time for me.....

I am having a tough time being the person I want be.What I am saying is Raw eating is what I want ,but sometimes I want cooked Vegan foods at the dinner hour.I am really trying to fight it.I think once the son moves out Mid May I will be better.I make more cooked foods with hubby ,son and granddaughter around. When the house was only hubby and myself we together had no problem with salads as our dinner. Our son is a beef ,burger flat out crappy eater. The daughter is 3 and I help her eat healthy. She herself eats McDonald's,Burger King and places not meant for growing kids :-).That is my opinion.I get her to drink sips of my drinks/juices and smoothies.

First Day Of Spring

Photobucket

We had a great sunny day up until around 7 pm ,a wind came in and drizzle rain came.
Spring has sprung for us here in the Pacific Northwest.I started my day with an interesting juice.Check out my results.I will be making this drink again.

Cantalope,mint,gogi berries.
Really tasty!
Took 1 whole cantalope,12 mint leaves, and put these into the vitamix.

I also took about 1/3 C gogi berries and 1/4 C water to soak berries then whirled them in my Magic Bullet(mini Blender).I then proceeded to put everything in the vitamix and put this juice into the Nutmilk bag.
Delicious.:-)

Eat the colors of the Rainbow.

Eat the colors of the rainbow. It's easy to identify foods with the highest levels of antioxidants—they're often the most colorful. Carrots and sweet potatoes have plenty of beta carotene; bell peppers, strawberries and tomatoes contain vitamin C; tomatoes and watermelon have lycopene; and dark leafy greens like spinach contain lutein. Blueberries have anthocyanins. Red grapes have resveratrol. And the list goes on—so banish the beige!

Ok I am back to my YMCA 4-5 times a week and I feel great.Of course the endorfines are flowing and all of us can get the seratonin levels up once we put it in our mind to just do it ,we will all feel the good we can do for our bodies.I love jogging for 1 hour with walking combined.I am paying more attention to what I eat and then jog a few hours later. There are some days I am so energized its incredible. This is why I am now journaling every day several times a day.I also have been slowly but surely working on a vision board, but its not finished.Once it is finished I will share with everyone here on my blog.

Back having fun....At That GYM!

Well, after a sick granddaughter with an almost 103 temp last week and her father(our son) and myself all had flu like symptoms last week and a half ago.It was not fun to say the least. Let me say I have been more sickly since taking on the granddaughter 4 days a week in a row. The other days shes at the other grandmas house and the environment is nasty.Sorry but true.

I did daycare for 18 years and stopped because I wanted more me time in 2001 and I have been with no illness in the year 2001 until now 2010.Well maybe a few colds I kid you not.

That being said I am SO glad to be back to the YMCA.I am also participating in the C25K and I down loaded week 1 podcast to jog/run/walk to.Its a great feeling to be back with arm and leg work for about 20 minutes, then I head upstairs and either do the treadmill or elliptical for 1 hour . However the c25k is only 1/2 hour this first week,so when the podcast ended I still did a walk slow jog from only 3.8-4.00 speed today. After 1 hour I then use another kind of cross trainer machine that burns on an average of 9-10 calories per minute.Today I worked out from 12:40 pm-2:15 pm and burned 520 calories.I am happy with that. But because I was missing about 2 weeks from the gym I am at a slower speed on the treadmill when I am jogging.
