2nd Juicing Day

I started my morning with lemon in 32 oz of water. I first did an enema ,cheaper then a colonic right now.I felt the need and then around 12:00 noon I made my juice of: 2 pink grapefruit ,1 orange and mint juiced,Yes, no greens. Always brush your teeth after citrus drinks ,so that the enamel on your teeth don't get messed up.

I am on a quest once again to freshen up my body and feel as cleansed and forfilling as can be.I love juicing and I can't say it enough.The more a person juices the more your get more energised and its a wonderful feeling.I have taught myself with inner talking that food will always be there.I mean the chewing kind of food.As we know it juice is food in its greatest form too I might add.

I have to step back to last night though,my hubby and I played racket ball for 1 hour,then I did the treadmill for 1 hour.I usually jog for the whole hour anywhere from 4.1-4.7 speed,but last night I only walked with very little jogging. I thought that was weird.......NO ENERGY! I think it was due to this fresh juicing day....just low on energy.Oh.I try and burn no less then 650 at the gym ,but I did do the racketball ,so I burned something there.....not much but something. I also did the PRECOR brand elliptical like ,10 calories per minute calorie burning machine ,and I did 15 minutes there. So between the treadmill and elliptical I only burned 550 calories .Then I came home a fell asleep on the couch....This is NOT LIKE ME to fall asleep after exercise.That is when I got up and made my apple drink heated on low.I don't count calories ,but like to burn no less then 650 calories per gym as I already mentioned.

The day is not over and I will make a green drink for my midday meal.~My P.M.juice was pineapple,spinach,tad ginger,3 stalks celery, 1 golden delicious apple.......Finished my 32 oz water from the am that I made and drink all day little by little.

Juicing for the next 10 days.....Nov 1st-Nov.10th 2009


It was 1 year that I started eating Raw foods. I started on Oct 27th 2008.My goals are to deeply cleanse my body, mind, and spirit and transcend to a whole, new, more vibrant level of health. Specifically, washing away toxic emotions, normalizing my weight, and strengthening my liver and all the internal organs .

I started drinking green smoothies and making more salad's incorporated juicing when I went online to Craiglist and found me a Champion Juicer ,since I heard they were a great Raw Ice Cream maker and also did decent juicing.Cost was $125.00 for me ,but new they cost about $235.00 or more.I am happy with it . I also want a new juice maker that the pulp will come out drier. If you juice you know what I am talking about. Now ,I am going to do a 10 Day juicefeast with a handful of folks . I have done 2 juicing sessions before. One was for 10 days another was 13 days. Wish me luck .I will need it. . Today Nov 1st is day 1 and so far I made a juice with Coconut water,dandelion,spinach,parsley,beet, cucumber, and Kiwi.Not a super loving taste ,but its tolorable. I am sipping it as I type this out.
I ended my first day with 3 glolden delicious apples 1 small piece of ginger juiced in my Champion,and lightly warmed and topped with cinnimon, it was like hot apple cider,but not HOT! Yummy too..

1 Day after my 1 year being on a Raw Lifestyle

This was my today's fabulous lunch.I don't usually eat my lunch,and that's because I almost always drink my lunch.I made the this because the soup is my last nights leftover.
The avocado dip your typical,avocado,tomato,onion,lemon,sea salt mix.My crackers are from yesterdays A.M. juice that I made.My crackers were made from:beet,1 lg granny smith apple,carrots,lemon,ginger,and garlic salt,dehydrated onion red pepper flakes ,sea salt,dill,cranberries.And I am sure a few more spices I forgot about.Here is the soups recipe:
Red Pepper and Hemp Soup
Ingredients:

2 extra large (or 3 regular) red peppers, seeded and roughly chopped
½ cup hemp seeds
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp lemon juice
½ tsp curry powder
¼ tsp turmeric
1 tsp Braggs liquid aminos
Black pepper to taste
2/3 cup water (or to taste – this will depend on how thick or thin you like your soup)
Procedure:
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may want to begin with ½ cup water and adjust based on texture as you go along!

1 (ONE year ) since I started eating RAW foods

PhotobucketThis was one of my first recipes I ever made and it still is my favorite dessert of all time when I want a small munchie at night ;-)Here’s a delicious raw vegan donut hole recipe. Naturally sweetened with whole dates, and flavored with vanilla. Plus, coconut, which is a great source of eletrolytes.
1 cup almonds, dry
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1 vanilla bean, scraped or 1 teas.Vanilla Extract
1 cup dried pineapple
chopItalic1 cup pitted dates
5 Tablespoons dried shredded coconut

I am proud to say that I am excited to say I started eating raw 1 year ago today.I first started out with green smoothies every day switching out the greens like kale,spianich,swiss chard and adding different things to make my smoothies sweet and tasty.I just added my favorite dessert in the photo section with Ani's Donut Holes My biggest problem at first was finding something I could eat and be satisfied with around the 8 pm hour.For some reason that is my bad time for a sweet treat.So I try and have a RAW DESSERT made item to keep me happy OR just have a big apple.That works for me too.I am loving raw and now that I am going itnto my second year eating raw I am adding lots of exercise,well a minimum of 1.5 hours at my YMCA.See I bought a pedometer and since we all should be getting 10,000 steps in a day,I felt I better put that rule into action.So that is my new thing Exercise.Oh Man

What an honor.We can see "Dave theTruckdriver" at our monthly potlucks in Washington State.What an inspiration. He's been juicing for over 2.5 months and has lost 203 lbs in his 1.5 years eating/juicing in the RAW.Aimee and I from raw food rehab got to talk with Dave once again and enjoyed every moment.Hugs to Dave~To all the Rawfoodies out there Enjoy.My story goes something like this:This is crazy .I had a larger mole and in Jan. 2009 that had lifted,drying up and a part was detached and crusty.Now I had it checked by a doctor.I am one impressed gal.I have had this mole for YEARS!!! Truly a miracle.Two years ago I was told this mole is nothing to worry about.Now I was a tad worried.Unless the body was curing itself! The mole looking thing on my breast was called Seborrhoeic keratoses.Gone, no signs that it ever was there.Cured by eating raw!So after 3 months at that time eating raw I added wheatgrass into my A.M about 3-5 days a week and after a few weeks that is when the Seborrhoeic keratoses left my body.Some of you have heard this story ,but its worth sharing.
